Chemical Volume Calculator

Use this tool to calculate the amount of chemical required to fill the gap between the anchor and the drilled hole in concrete. Simply input the dimensions and quantities, and the calculator will provide the total volume of chemical needed and the number of bottles required.

* These calculations are based on negligible waste in cartridge, annulus volume between pitch thread diameter and mean drill bit diameter such that filling holes to level shown will ensure that the published performance is achieved.

Drilling and Installation Tips

  • Ensure to drill the hole to the specified depth and diameter for the anchor size you are using.
  • Clean the hole thoroughly by brushing and blowing out any debris. For underwater applications, use a brush and flush with clean water.
  • Inject Safemaster specified Epoxy into the hole, starting from the bottom and filling approximately one-third of the hole.
  • Insert the anchor rod or bar by rotating it slowly to ensure even distribution and to expel any trapped air.
  • Allow the epoxy to cure completely before applying any load. Refer to the product manual for specific curing times.
  • After curing, mount the fixture and tighten it to the specified torque values.
